This camera was launched to compete with Leicas and Contaxes. It offered a reasonable set of top quality lenses. The camera body is well finished but for me (personal opinion) to adjust the focus with a ring around the lens is such an automatic gesture, it doesn't pose any inconvenient, I don't understand why several times Voigtlander attempted to change it. This knob on camera top is the only pitfall of this camera. The leaf shutter Synchro Compur is mostly an advantage compared to the focal plane ones so I think that with normal focus adjustment around the lens this system would have a better future.
